Counseling Session

A standard counseling session is 55 minutes and billed at an hourly rate of $140.00. Contact for more information.

Creative Minds Therapy provides counseling services for children and adolescents, ages 5 to 17. Appointments available Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

*Please inform the therapist if you are receiving mental health services through the San Juan Island School District or the Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center.

Personalized Therapy Plans

The therapist will partner with the family to create a personalized therapy plan that can be implemented from home in between counseling sessions. This plan includes curriculum (worksheets, scripts, activities, etc.) that is specific to your child’s needs and can be executed over four to six weeks. Custom plans are written and developed by the therapist and billed at an hourly rate of $140.00. Contact for more information.

Personalized Art Therapy Kits

Creative Minds Therapy is now offering personalized art therapy kits upon request. These kits are based on a specific topic, ranging from anger, grief, anxiety, divorce, peer relationships, and building confidence. Unlike the quarterly art therapy kits, personalized kits include customized curriculum (worksheets, scripts, activities, etc.) designed to meet your child’s needs. Legal Consultation

Creative Minds Therapy will consult with your attorney or court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem via phone or in person to discuss your case and how to best support your child(ren). Consultations are billed at an hourly rate of $140.00. Contact for more information.

School Consultation

The therapist will consult with school administrators, teachers, and related personnel to discuss student needs, including learning accommodations, IEPs, 504s, and behavior plans. Consultations can occur via phone or in person, and are billed at an hourly rate of $140.00. Contact for more information.

Art Therapy Kits

Creative Minds Therapy is now offering quarterly, themed art therapy kits designed to allow kids to explore creativity, build coping skills, and engage in imaginative play all from the comforts of home. Kits include materials, instructions, examples of completed art activities, educational handouts about the topic or theme (e.g. ways to practice mindfulness and other calming strategies) and tips for parents to guide conversations with children. Sensory Bins

Creative Minds Therapy is now offering themed sensory bins, filled with toys and trinkets to broaden your child’s creativity and imaginative storytelling.
