Creative Minds is a child behavioral health, academic coaching, and therapy practice deeply committed to confidentiality, multicultural sensitivity, and quality care.

For over twenty years, I was an educator specializing in differentiated instruction and personalized learning pathways. I worked in a variety of educational environments, including public schools, private institutions, universities, and facilities specializing in support for children with neurodivergence and developmental differences. During my career as an educator, I pursued training in restorative practices (conflict resolution), crisis mitigation and intervention, and social-emotional learning.

Over the last decade, I served communities in several states in a myriad of therapeutic roles, including Crisis Interventionist, assessing levels of risk and treatment approaches for clients with emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse problems. I partnered with first-offender programs, providing mental health support and strategies for crisis management for adolescents.

A graduate of Prescott College, I have a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and possess training in expressive arts therapy, multicultural approaches to mental health and wellness, mindfulness, and adolescent neurodevelopment.

My therapeutic approach includes a range of modalities, such as mindfulness, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and more. I integrate therapeutic play and art to address symptoms of anxiety and depression, attachment trauma, school-related difficulties, and interpersonal relationship dynamics.

Sometimes what we need most is to feel heard and know that our feelings and experiences matter. My hope is that you will trust me with your child's care, as we partner together on this journey. Please reach out if you would like to talk further. I look forward to meeting you.
